Rejoice we have a new brother in Christ, Brodie Holman, was baptized last Wednesday night. Let’s encourage and lift him up in prayer as he begins his walk with Christ. His parents are Brant & Lauren and his sister is Harper.
 
Glenda Johnson is in CRMC Room 509 after a fall on Saturday night and they found she also has pneumonia.

Cassandra Sexton is back in the hospital. Prayers of healing, strength, and guidance appreciated.

Sue Chaffin is home now and doing very well.

Please continue to pray for Chuck Teeters who is in a coma after a beach accident in Florida. He is now breathing on his own. He is husband to Amy and father to Cole, Austin and Logan. They are close friends of Jason and Amy Fowler.

Dave Piggott’s nephew, Adam Hoschar, had surgery Thursday for a brain tumor. Continue in prayer for his recovery.

June & Glenn Farris want to thank everyone for their thoughtful and loving prayers for Chong Jai and Stanley Ridolfi. Stanley is now out of the ICU at Cookeville General and waiting for temporary placement in a nursing facility. Again, thank you for your loving prayers. God's grace is indeed merciful.

Sympathy to Mary Cope in the passing of her husband and our David Cope on Saturday. His funeral service was held Tuesday at Brown Funeral Chapel in Byrdstown.

Sympathy to our David (Laura) Fox in the loss of his mother, Willene Fox, who passed away Friday morning. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, October 18 from 10am to 12 noon, with a service to follow from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Prayers of comfort, peace and strength appreciated.

2026 Calendar - As we begin to work on next year’s calendar of events, all ministry leaders, deacons, etc. are asked to get potential event dates for 2026 to the office (office@jacoc.org) no later than October 31st.

Directory Photos: Photos are being taken each Sunday in October for anyone wishing to update their church directory picture. If your family has had changes over the past two years or if you are new members, we encourage you to have your photos taken. Please sign up on the schedule on the family bulletin board.

Vision Basketball Sign-Ups: It is sign-up time for a new season of Vision Basketball! K-12th students can play. Sign-up nights will be at Sycamore Church of Christ in the multipurpose room on October 16, 5:30- 7:00pm. New players will need to take the skills test. You can also stop by the church office during office hours to sign up if you cannot make it to the session. The fee this year is $50. There is a $20 late fee for any sign-ups after Oct. 16.
